Brown, M. A. Published by John P. Morton and Company Louisville, Kentucky, Copyright 1904.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>John Thomas Brown was born one mile north of Alamo in 1869 (then Cageville, Gibson County.) Brown\u2019s leather-bound, 683-page edition is considered the definitive work on the history of the Churches of Christ, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and the American Restoration Movement. The photograph and text above were taken from a copy of John T.
