The undersigned would respectfully represent that on the 24th day of April 1889 MRS. M. A. NOWELL departed this life intestate leaving some personal property and JAS. A. NOWELL aged 19 years MARTIN H. NOWELL aged 15 years and LIDA A. NOWELL aged 9 years minor Heirs all with out regular guardian they now respectfully ask that W. N. BEASLEY Esq. be appointed and qualified as their guardian. Respectfully May 6th 1889<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On motion and by petition of the wards W. N. BEASLEY was this day appointed Guardian of JAMES A. NOWELL, MARTIN H. NOWELL and LIDA NOWELL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thereupon the said W. N. BEASLEY came into open court and entered into bond in the sum of Six Hundred Dollars with B. H. HARMON and R. R. SMITH as his securities\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be it remembered that the petition of W. N. BEASLEY Guardian &c; of the Minor heirs of MRS. M. A. NOWELL decd. came on to be heard before J. M. COCHRAN chairman &c; on this the 6th day of May 1889 and it appearing to the satisfaction of the court that the property exempt by law from execution in the hands of MRS. M. A. NOWELL decd at her death vested in he [her\/the?] minor heirs under the age of fifteen years and that it is likely to wast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is therefore ordered that the Guardian W. N. BEASLEY explore to sale all such property as is described in said petition on a credit\u2026 and that due regard be given to the contracts heretofore made between MRS. M. A. NOWELL and J. F. BAKER in regard to cropping on the shares for the year 1889.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
