Loyd Cemetery

I was searching for family members and located this list in the book Cemetery Records of Cocke County, TN. The transcription was done in the 1970's. At that time the person who transcribed it wrote, "this cemetery is in deplorable condition. Livestock has knocked over many of the stones and broken them." It is now located on a large working farm on Pleasant Grove Road in the Edwina Community of Cocke County, TN, on land presently owned by the Fish family (3/2009).

HOLLOWAY (think the name is Millard), Eva JUSTUS his second wife d-1915 (per their daughter), Willie GATES son of Rilda RAINES, the mother of Jim and Russ GATES, a baby of Mr. and Mrs. Dot WOOD, Harriet DAVIS second wife of Jesse LOYD, Martha DAVIS.
