For most of these records, the data was verified by Blount County historian Inez E. Burns. \u00a0The microfilm collection is held at the Tennessee State Library &amp; Archives (TSLA) and includes records for several Blount County farms. \u00a0More information about the records are available <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tn.gov\/tsla\/history\/state\/recordgroups\/findingaids\/rg62.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">at the TSLA website<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">These records contain a varying amount of family history going back to the origins of each farm. I have digitally scanned these records and will make them available here over time via a &#8220;View file&#8221; link next to each family. Until I have the opportunity to get them all linked, please contact me if you would like to see the records for any particular family.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr style=\"width: 100%;\" width=\"100%\" \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>ANDERSON, Herbert Floyd (Mr. &amp; Mrs.)<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; Herbert was the grandson of the original farm owner, James R.C. ANDERSON. \u00a0Original land purchase in 1807 was by Joshua HANNAH. \u00a0This file contains a history of the Anderson farm from 1887-1975. \u00a0Farm located in Rockford.<\/span> [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.scribd.com\/doc\/101020745\/Herbert-F-Anderson-Heritage-Farm-Documentation\" target=\"_blank\">View file<\/a>]<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>BEST, Cora F. (Mrs.)<\/strong> &#8211; <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Daniel BEST\/BOEST (died 1845) was the first family member to have owned this land, purchased prior to 1809. \u00a0Cora&#8217;s husband was the great-great-grandson of Daniel. This file contains details on several generations of the BEST family.
