Webb (monroewebb@gmail.com)\r\n\r\nBlount County Tennessee Register of Deeds; Microfilm # 0888888; Vol. FF; Dec.\r\n1874 - July 1877; Pages 375, 376, 377\r\n\r\nKnow all men by these presents that we <strong>Michael Harvey<\/strong> his wife Sarah Harvey and\r\nJames Harvey for and in consideration of the sum of fifty Hundred Dollars Seven\r\nHundred and Fifty Dollars of which has this day been paid to us by<strong> John R. Tallent<\/strong> the reciept of which is hereby acknowledged and a mot_ of ____ executed\r\nby the said John R. Tallent to the said Michael Harvey in order for the sum of\r\nseven hundred and fifty Dollars of even Dato (duto??) herewith payable five\r\nyears after dato and bearing two percent interest from dato and which mote??? it\r\nis agreed shall be and secure a ____ upon the bonds herein after described have\r\nthis day bargained and sold and by these presents do transfer and convey unto\r\nJohn R. Tallent the (Page 376) following described bonds with all and singular\r\nthe ____ and _____ thereunto belonging to me two hundred and twelve and 1\\2\r\nacres more or less situated in the 10th civil District of Blount County\r\nTennessee bounded on the north by the lands of the Saffris heirs on the East by\r\nthe Halston River on the west by the lands of the Ben. Bonham heirs and on the\r\nSouth by the lands of Saul Saffris heirs being the same on which the said\r\nMichael Harvey now resides Also on the tract containing thirty acres more or\r\nless Situate in said 10th District of Blount County bounded on the North by the\r\nabove described two hundred and twelve acre tract on the south by the lands of\r\nH. C. Saffris and on the west by the widow _____ _______ Bonham tract to have\r\nand to hold each of the said tracts of land to himself his heirs and assigns in\r\n________ ________ forever and we commant with the said John R. Tallent his heirs\r\nand assigns that we are lawfully seized _____ ________ of the said two hundred\r\nand twelve acre tract that the same is unincumbered and we bind ourselves our\r\nheirs and legal representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to the\r\nsame to the said John R. Tallent his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims\r\nof all persons whomsoever but it expressly understood that we do not warrant the\r\ntitle to the above described thirty acre tract ______ that we release quit claim\r\nand convey unto the said John R. Tallent his heirs and assigns all our right\r\ntitle claim and interest in and to the same both legal and equitable to\r\ntestimony of all which are hereunto set our hands and Seals this 1 day of\r\nNovember A. Gillesfree<\/strong> Esquire You are hereby authorized and impowered to take the\r\nexamination of Sarah Harvey seperately and apart from her husband relative to\r\nher free execution of the written deed and the same so taken to certify under\r\nyour hand and seal Witness <strong>J. A. Grier<\/strong> Clerk of the County Court of said County\r\nat office the 30th day of Oct. 1876 J. A. Grier Clerk\r\n\r\nState of Tennessee\r\nCounty of Blount\r\n\r\nSarah Harvey wife of Michael Harvey having personally appeared before me and\r\nhaving by virtures of the authority in me vested and examined privately and\r\napart from her said husband and she having acknowledged the due execution of the\r\nwritten deed by her freely and voluntarely and understandingly without\r\ncompulsion or constraint by her said husband and for the said pusposes herein\r\nexpressed the same is therefore certified Witness My hand and seal this the 1st\r\nday of November 1876.\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\tJ. C. Gillesfree\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\tJustice of the Peace for Blount County\r\n\r\nState of Tennessee\r\nCounty of Blount\r\n\r\nPersonally appeared before me J. A. Grier Clerk of the County Court for the\r\ncounty aforesaid James Harvey the within named bargainor with whom I am\r\npersonally acquainted and who acknowledged that he executed the within\r\ninstrument for the purposes therein contained Given under My hand at office in\r\nMarysville this the 8th day of November 1876.\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t\tJ. A. Grier\r\n\t\t\t\t\tClerk\r\n\r\nState of Tennessee\r\nBlount County\r\n\r\nPersonally appeared before me J. A. Grier Clerk of the County Court of Blount\r\nCounty aforesaid <strong>James A. Prater<\/strong> on the 8th day of November 1876 and <strong>James W. Barnes<\/strong> on the 8th day of November 1876 subscribing Witnesses to the within deed\r\nwho being first sworn defused and said that they are acquainted with Michael\r\nHarvey the bargainor and that he acknowledged the same in their presence to be\r\nhis act and deed upon the day it bears date Witness my hand at office this 8th\r\nday of November 1876\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t\tJ.
