LOWE<\/strong>, left for Colorado Saturday last to be absent several weeks.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mrs. Gen. HOOD<\/strong> went to Montvale Tuesday last, to spend some tmie at that famous resort.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Capt. J.P. EDMONDSON<\/strong> was in town this week.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mr. John HYDEN<\/strong>, son of <strong>Rev. S.W. HYDEN<\/strong> of this place, Superintendent of Public Instruction of Loudon county, was in town this week.<\/li>\n<li>We regret to learn that <strong>Mr. Henry STERLING<\/strong> is still in a critical condition.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Misses IRWINS<\/strong>, of whom we made mention in our last issue, are still confined to their beds of affliction.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mr. John McCULLOCH<\/strong> is still confined to his bed of sickness.<\/li>\n<li>We regret to learn our printer <strong>Mr. KIDD<\/strong>, of Knoxville, who has been absent two weeks from sickness, is still in feeble health.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mr. J.L. ELMS<\/strong>, a former typo of this office, has the foremanship of this office now.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mr. J.A.
