Searching for parents or siblings of William NICHOLS & Sallie "Sara" NORTON. William was born 1796 in North Carolina & died after 1870 in probably Blount or Knox Counties. Sara was born 1805 in TN. They married Sept. 15, 1829 in Blount Co. They lived in the Knox, Blount & Sevier County areas their entire lives. According to family legend, William's father drowned in a deer hunting accident.
