WAR VETERAN IS DEAD

Edward L. Williams, farmer of Somerville,

died at U. S. Veterans' Hospital at 10:30

o'clock yesterday morning after a three-

day illness of pneumonia. He was 34 years

of age.

Mr. Williams, who served in the navy in the

World War, Is survived by his widow, Mrs.

Georgia Williams, six children, all of

Somerville, and two brothers, Elmer Stewart

and John Oliver Williams, of Memphis.

The body will be sent to Somerville today from

the J. T. Hinton & Son funeral residence for burial.
