Relive the stories of the people who settled this part of southern Williamson County.
These Family Histories have been taken from the book by Sue Oden titled "Hold Us Not Boastful - History of Thompson's Station, TN." This biographical collection includes 86 histories of pioneer families of Thompson's Station and Southern Williamson County. The stories are about families who are proud of their roots and their place in history. We hope that you will be able to connect your roots with ours, and become part of us.
If you are just beginning your search, this will be a great place to start to look for your connection to these pioneers.
Current Information about Thompson's Station will be added here. This could include the current officials, important telephone numbers, etc.
Southern Williamson County was not spared the ravages of war. Two major engagements were fought within its boundaries: the Battle of Thompson's Station in 1863 and the Battle of Franklin in 1864.
