Looking for the parents of John W. SCOTT. He married Paulina (polly)
WHITBY in early 1850s in Williamson County. Am unable to find
anything on his parents. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
John W.& Paulina moved to western TN around 1860 and then on to Yell
County, Arkansas shortly after the Civil War. Thanks.

I am looking for the parents of Eliza RAGSDALE b. 1809(?)
d.@1842(Allen Co KY). About 1823 she married John Jackson GOODRUM. I
believe that John is given as John GOODNEM in the 1840 Maury CO TN
census, a neighbor county of Williamson CO. There are no RAGSDALE's
in Maury, Sumner Co TN, or Warren/Allen Co KY during this period.
There are 11 RAGSDALE families in the 1820 Williamson Co,TN census.
If anyone has information that can lead me to the parents of Eliza
RAGSDALE, I would be most appreciative. Eliza RAGSDALE GOODRUM was
my ggg-grandmother.

Seeking info on John CUNNINGHAM, married to Polly PATTON in 1800,
Davidson Co., Tn. Polly was the daughter of John and Sarah Patton of
Williamson Co., Tn. John PATTON died in 1810. Other children of
John Patton were: Hannah, John, Drucilla, Betsy, Thomas, Nancy,
James,George and William. Drucilla married a Mr. Stainback. Nancy

I'm seeking information on David PORTER (b. about 1780 in VA) and
Elizabeth HOPKINS.
David married Elizabeth, born in SC, about 1800, place unknown. They
moved to Williamson Co., TN early in their married life. Elizabeth
died Aug. 17, 1807, 9 days after their child, James, was born. James
lived with his grandparents, believed to be the HOPKINS, for ten
years before moving to Lincoln Co., MO with his father and stepmother
around 1817.
David PORTER and his second wife (name unknown) moved from Lincoln
County, MO to Pike County, IL in 1836. David died in 1849 and his
second wife died in Pike County, IL the age of 82.
Any information on David or Elizabeth would be helpful.

Seeking information on decendants of Nicholas and Mary SLAYDEN COX,
married January 6, 1859, Hickman County TN.
Nicholas Nichols COX, representative, was born in Bedford county,
Tenn., Jan. 6, 1837; son of Caleb and Nancy (ALLEN) COX. He removed
with his mother and brother to Seguin, Texas, when a small bey and
attended the public schools in that place. In 1858 he was graduated
from the law school at Lebanon, Tenn., and the same year was licensed
to practise. He Was a colonel in the Confederate army and after the
war located in Franklin, Tenn., where he engaged in farming and the
practice of his profession. He was a presidential elector on the
Breckinridge ticket in 1860 and on the Greeley ticket in 1872, and
was a Democratic representative from the seventh district of
Tennessee in the 52d, 53d, 64th, 55th and 56th congresses, 1891-1901.

Interested in any info on family of ORMES in Williamson Co.,
Franklin, Tn. Name of Evan Ormes,found in Tenn. Room of Nashville
Public Library. My greatgrand mother was Sally Ann ORMES, don't know
given name of her husband Mr. ORMES. Grandparents were Molly Carey

I am interested in finding anyone with information about Richard
Graham Jr b Mar 17, 1753 in Rowan County, North Carolina and his wife
Roseanna Dobbins b. Oct 6, 1781 in Pennsylvania. Richard Graham Jr
died November 21, 1832 in Williamson County, Tennessee. His wife,
Roseanna Dobbins Graham died May 1, 1842 in Williamson County,
Tennessee. Does anyone know where in Williamson County, Tennessee
they are buried? I think one of their children (Nancy Cathey Graham)
was my GGG Grandmother.

Looking for information on John Beatty, born 1816? he married
Elizabeth Pinkerton, Feb. 5, 1838 in Williamson, Co., his son was
Ephraim Turner Beatty, born. Feb. 18, 1854, in Maury Co., TN and died
Aug. 3, 1938, in Monette,Mo. Elizabeth was born 1822? I am in need of
more information on the above individuals. Ephraim had a son by
Carrie McCaul, named John Alexander Beatty, b. 4/5/1878 and d.
4/17/1955, he lived in Monette, Mo.
He married Ida Jane Jefferson had two children
Rolla Ephraim Beatty and Loraine Beatty. They lived in Monette, MO. I

Looking for the family of David WILSON born ca 1789 NC who married
Annie HANES, 7 Aug 1810 in Maury Co. TN. David was the son of Joseph
WILSON who died 1823 in Williamson Co. TN. His sister was Ellen DEAN
born 1780 NC (w/o Greenberry DEAN) who lived in Marshall Co. TN.
Other sisters married George CATHY and Jesse HARDIN. Census indicate
David and Annie had ten children by 1830, 4 boys and 6 girls. Three
of the girls, who apparently never married, were Rispah, Nancy and
Anna, living at home in 1850.

Seeking info on Wm. R. GRAVES and wife, L.Sarah LUCKETT (she may also
have been called Lucinda or Louisa, but no proof of this).
Wm. R. is son of Alexander and Martha Fuller GRAVES.
Alexander is son of John and Ann CAMPBELL GRAVES.
Children include: W. Carrie (b. 1875) and Wm. J. (b. 1878).
This family is found in Williamson Co. in 1880, next door to G.W.
LUCKETT and wife J. Martha and son George W., Jr. (I suspect these
are L.Sarah's parents).
