Iss'd This day was produced in open Court a writing purporting to be the last will and Testament of Sampson Godard late of White County deceased and the due execution and publication thereof as the last will and testament of Sampson Godard deceased was this day proven in open Court by the oaths of Joseph Cummings, Jr., and James Goddard subscribing witnesses thereto for the purposes and things therein contained and that at the date and publication purposes and things therein contained and that at the date and publication thereof the said Sampson Goddard was of sound and disposing mind and memory, whereupon also appeared in open Court Catharine Goddard who is appointed sole executrix in said will and testament of her deceased Husband, Sampson Goddard and undertakes the burden and execution thereof and thereupon took the oath required by law and together with James Goddard, Joseph Cummings, Jr., and Elijah Hill entered into and acknowledged bond in the sum of three Hundred dollars Conditioned as the law requires.
Iss'd This day was produced in open Court a writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Berry Hamblett, late of the County of White deceased and the due execution and publication thereof as the last will and testament of Berry Hamblett, deceased was this day proven in open Court by the oaths of Trent C. Conner and John Wallis subscribing witnesses thereto for the purposes and things therein mentioned and that at the date of the execution and publication thereof the said Berry Hamblett was sound and disposing mind and memory whereupon also appeared in open Court Elizabeth Hamblett who is appointed executrix in said last will and testament her deceased husband Berry Hamblett and undertakes the burden and execution of said will and testament and thereupon took the oath required by law and together with James Randols, Sr., and Joseph Herd entered into and acknowledged bond in the sum of six Thousand dollars conditioned as the law requires.
For reasons appearing to the satisfaction of the Court it is ordered by the Court that the securities of David L. Mitchell, Esq. deceased late sheriff and Collector of the public taxes in White County for the year 1836 be allowed the further time of sixty days from this day for the collection of and paying over the taxes due the County of White for said year 1836.
Iss'd Ordered by Court that David Snodgrass and Edmund Stamps be appointed Commissoners to settle with Thomas Henry adminestrator of the estate of William Parker deceased and report thereof to the next term of this Court.
Iss'd Ordered by Court that Dan Griffith be allowed the sum of two dollars and twenty five cents for services of work and labor done on the Common Jail of White County by George W. Slucer and also that Robert H. McManus keeper of the common Jail of White County be allowed the sum of one dollar seventy five cents for nails furnished and labor done in repairing the Jail of White County to be paid y the Trustee of White County of Any monies not otherwise appropriated.
