At a County Court began and held for the County of White at the Court house in the town of Sparta before the Justices of our said Court on the first Monday being the seventh day of November in the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and thirty six and of the Independence of the United States the sixty first year

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that Nicholas Oldham Clerk of White County Court in producing his receipts which he was bound by law to do these was a mistake in the Comptrollers receipt and the Court then granted him the opportunity of having said receipt corrected and the said Clerk this day produced in open Court areceipt of the Comptroller of even date with the other which is ordered by Court to be recorded

Received of Nicholas Oldham Clerk of the County Court of White County the bond of David L. Mitchell Sherriff and Collector of the public taxes for said County for the present year dated August 1st 1836

Issd. Ordered by Court that Canady Rigsby be appointed Overseer of the road from Samuel Turney to ceder creek being a road of the first Class and keep the same in repair as the law requires and that the same bounds of hands be assigned him that worked under William Glenn former Overseer thereof -
Iss'd. Ordered by Court that Thomas Leek be appointed Overseer of the road from the Knotty oak to Allens ferry being a road of the first Class and keep the same in repair as the law requires and that the same boundary of hands be assigned, that was assign to Samuel Allen late Overseer thereof.
Iss'd. Ordered by Court that part of the Pikeville road from Pleasant Wallers to the foot of the Mountain be reduced to a second Class road only and that James Malloy be appointed Overseer on said road from Mrs. Dales to the middle of the river at the ford below Dales Mill and keep the same in repair as the laws requires and that John Gillentine and Willie Steakley, Esquire apportion bounds of hands between James Malloy, Jacob Keener and Daniel Dales Overseers.
