BRADLEY, SNOW

Hello, I am looking for information on my grandfather and his parents. His name was Robert Thomas BRADLEY b. Apr 1906??? in TN (possibly Paris, Henry Co.) His parents are believed to be Thomas BRADLEY and Emma SNOW. His parents may have died while he was young as it is believed that he lived with his grandmother for a short time. He may also have had an older brother and sister, the sister possibly joined a convent. Any help would be appreciated. I would be willing to give someone $50.00 if they could provide me with proof as to the parents of Robert Thomas Bradley. Thank you, Jim.

SHOPHERS, SHOFFER, SHOFER, MITCHELL

Frederick SHOPHER b.1795 France lived in Hardeman Co, wife Delila WEAVER, Children: Calvin, John, Jonas, Rufus, Nancy J. A., Elizabeth, Marion, and James. Calvin, Rufus and Jonas show up later in Arkansas as Civil War Vets. Calvin m. Mary M. “Polly” MITCHELL and had Elizabeth and William Henry SHOPHER. Probably other children but these are the only two I found so far, I know William had at least 1 brother. Story has it that Calvin came back from the Civil War sick and eventually passed the illness on to his wife. Unable to take care of the children Calvin and his wife gave them to a family name GARRETT to raise. It was said that the GARRETT's were not good to the children and at least 2 of them, William Henry and a brother ran away from home. That explains why William Henry shows up in Texas at the age of 13 living with a family named STEWART. I think William Henry's brother might be John or James SHOPHER.Would appreciate any information.

I am researching MARTIN, N. Y., reputed to be a farmer in Obion, Dyer, Tipton, or Weakley County. He was the father of Jacob Martin, known in Carroll County, who was the father of Milton Scott Martin, who was a native of Carroll County. Any help to find this missing link will be greatly appreciated. thanks,

I would like any info on James Richerson and wife Sophere. They left Weakley Co. Tn. in 1863 and settled in southern Il. She was Cherokee by birth and probably maiden name Narmore. Their daughter was Nancy Richerson, my great-grandmother. She married William Murphy in Il. Their son Edward Gregory Murphy was my grandfather and was born 2-2-1874.

PARKS - looking for the Parks family that settled near Dresden before 1850. JOAB PARKS, his son THOMAS PARKS. I have Thomas' line into Stoddard County, Missouri through today. I would love to exchange information. Joab established a cemetery "near a Liberty Church, 5 miles south of Dresden on the Dresden-Jackson highway." I am told there is a township of Liberty. Does anyone know this cemetery and if it is accessible? It was established before 1860. There is also a Parks Cemetery, on private land I believe. I am planning a trip to Dresden in June and would love to find these cemeteries if they are accessible and anyone can give me directions. I am coming from deep South Texas, and hate to be on a wild goose chase.
