COPELAND-DOBBS

Looking for info on William DOBBS of Bedford CO, who is listed in Land Deed Genealogy of Bedford County TN, on p. 62-cited from Deed Book "J" p. 22, as giving to Elizabeth COPELAND, his daughter, wife of Willis COPELAND, cattle, in 1818. On p. 171 & 174 of same book are two other references to the DOBBS family.pg. 378 of Deed Book CC mentions Willis and Elizabeth COOPLIN (COPELAND) of Wayne Co deeding land in Bedford Co to Linsey DOBBS in 1833. And p. 247 in CC which is William DOBBS estate in 1832. William DOBBS wife was Keziah DOBBS. Linsey was probably their child. Am trying to confirm that Willis and Elizabeth COPELAND had three sons, Wesley, John, and William, who moved from TN to Izard CO Ark in about 1848. [Everyone please accept my most abject apologies. I posted the address for my homepage wrong on my query and now folks are telling me they can't get into it. You'd be amazed (Iwas) at the number of people who are reseching these names. I left out one letter in the address. Here is the corrected address; http://familytreemaker.com/users/c/o/n/Patrick-C-Conway/index/html Again, I apologize to those trying to find links. I need to clean my pee-paw glasses more often.

PETERSON

Looking for Branson Peterson in 1870 census. 9 years old with mother, unknown, siblings, & Father. Father is possibly deceased though. By 1880, the Peterson children have been taken by William Hedgepeth Nichols family after their mother died, and have moved to Marion Co.AL, however only Branson is listed with Nichols family. Born 1860-62, Branson is somewhere close to Wayne county. Possibly related to the Nichols family through his mother. Don't know his Parents name though. WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE DO A LOOKUP IN 1870 CENSUS FOR ME.
