Missing Markers

Because of the many unmarked graves at Salem Cemetery, Elaine Cantrell and Betty Jane Hylton have abstracted from previous surveys, death records, and newspapers the names of individuals reportedly buried at Salem but with no marker found 2006. Some names appear on more than one list. These have not been eliminated in the lists, so a researcher might determine when a marker was lost or if a grave was never marked.
