Eighth District item: Dearth came last Tuesday night, June 27, to Mrs. J.P. Leach who had been seriously ill for quite sometime. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband and nine children, besides a number of brothers and sisters. She was laid to rest in a lot near the home on Thursday.

W. C. Ledford Cemetery photo

Located between 144 and 119 Maden Lane, Jonesborough, TN. Maden Lane is a dead-end road off of Bugaboo Springs Rd. The cemetery is fenced with a marker made out of river stones with a marble insert. Leonard Cemetery is located next to a white apartment house converted from a church on top of the knob behind ETSU at the southeast corner of Southwest Avenue and College Heights Dr., Johnson City, TN. Hidden from view on top of the knob behind ETSU on top of the hill, it is reached by the first dirt road to the right, across the street from 1214 College Heights Dr.
