A Tribute to a Gentleman and a Scholar

Mr. Buckingham's valuable help to many reseachers is immeasurable. Many of us know about our ancestors through his kind and generous endeavors. He was always ready to come to the Fred A. Vaught Public Library to assist and guide people seeking their kinfolks.
Mr. Buckingham did a pamphlet about the Trousdale County Courthouse, a valuable account. With Lorraine Bronner he did a book of the 1930 census with a lot of extra genealogical information included.
It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we have this page. He will be greatly missed.
