Suet Pudding

(A. Lossman)

1 cup chopped suet

1 cup molasses

1 cup milk

3 cups flour

1 tsp. soda

1 1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. each ginger, cloves

1 tsp. each nutmeg, cinnamon

Mix dry ingredients. Add molasses and milk. Mix suet with dry ingredients. Butter cans and steam 3 hours. Add any fruit or raisins if desired.
