Cream Puffs

(Mrs. Harriman)

1/2 cup butter melted in 1 cup hot water. Put in pan on stove to boil. While boiling, stir in 1 cup flour. Take off stove and cool. When cool, stir in 3 eggs, one after the other without beating. Drop in buttered tins (muffin, if desired) or cookie sheet. Bake in hot oven 15-20 minutes. Puffs will raise double in size. 400( oven, 1 tbsp. mixture for each puff.

Filling:
1 cup milk

1 egg

1/2 cup sugar

Thicken with cornstarch and flavor with vanilla.
