Strawberry Whip Cake

1 cup sugar

1 cup flour

1 tsp. baking powder

pinch salt

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cube butter

1 egg

Beat sugar and egg with egg beater. Slightly warm milk and butter together. Add to egg and sugar and beat. Flavor, then beat. Add flour and beat well. Whip: 1 egg white, 1 cup fresh strawberries, 1 cup sugar, sifted. Beat all together for 15 minutes by a clock. Put on cake and let set.
