Walnut Cake1 cup brown sugar 3/4 cup flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1 cup chopped walnuts 2 unbeaten eggs 2 tbsp. boiling water 1/4 tsp. baking soda Mix sugar, flour, salt, nuts. Drop in eggs and beat well. Add soda dissolved in 2 tbsp. boiling water and blend. Spread in a square cake pan. Bake in a very slow oven 40 minutes. When cool, cut into small cakes and roll in powdered sugar.
