Kentucky Jam Cake
1 cup butter or shortening
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves
5 tbsp. sour cream or sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
3 1/2 cups flour
1 cup jam
Cream sugar and butter. Add the rest of the ingredients, except jam.
