Apple Roll
2 cups flour
4 tbsp. shortening
pinch salt
2 tbsp. sugar
3/4 cup milk
4 level tsp. baking powder
Mix and roll out 1/2" thick. Spread over with sliced apples. Sugar apples. Roll up and cut off 1 1/2" thick. Arrange in baking dish and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake a light brown and serve with whipped cream or sauce.
