Ice Box Cookies
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 cup nut meats
Mix in regular order with hands. Make into 4 rolls with hands. Let rise overnight. Slice very thin and bake in moderate oven. Do not grease cookie sheets.
