Mustard Sauce for Meats

Recipe of A. Maneke

3 tbsp. mustard

1 tbsp. sugar

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. cornstarch

2 tbsp. vinegar

1/2 tbsp. water

2 eggs, well beaten

Mix together first four ingredients. Add vinegar, water and eggs. Cook in double boiler. When cool, add 1/2 pint whipped cream.
