JUDGE of the Probate of Will, &c. for and within the County of Middlesex in the Province aforesaid,


To Mr Nathan Wyman of Wobourn in Said County Wheelwright -- Greeting.


TRUSTING in your Care and Fidelity, I do by these Presents, Pursuant to the Power and Authority to Me Granted in and by An Act of the General Assembly of the Said Province, Nominate and Appoint you to be Guardian unto ^ Nathaniel Wyman in his 18th year a Son of the --
Abigail Wyman in her 16 Year of Age Daughter of Mr Benjn Wyman late of Wobourn a fore said Decd ----
(At Said minors own Election)


with full Power and Authority to Ask, Demand, Sue for, Recover, Receive and Take into your Custody all and Singular such Part and Portion of Estate as Acrues to unto her in Right of unto her Father

or which by any other Way or Means whatsoever doth of Right Appertain or belong to unto her And to Manage, Imploy and Improve the same for unto her best Profit and Advantage, And to Render a plain & true Accompt of your Guardianship upon Oath, so far as the Law will charge you therewith, when you shall be lawfully Required, and pay and deliver such and so much of the said Estate as shall be remaining upon your Accompt ( the same being first examined and allowed by the Judge or Judges, for the Time being, of Probate, &c.) unto the said Minor, when unto She shall arrive as full Age, or otherwise as the said judge or Judges, by his or their Decree or Sentence, Pursuant to Law shall limit and appoint.

In Testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal of the said Court of Probate. Dated at unto Cambe the 22d -- Day of November Annoque Domini, 1737.

Note:
It appears that the name of Nathaniel Wyman (minor) was added to the Court Order after it was filled out in Abigail Wyman’s name. The order states, “At Said minors own Election.” Perhaps Nathaniel waited until the last minute to decide who would be his guardian.
