Hord and John Reynolds of the one part and Charles J. McKinney of the other part, all of Hawkins County Tennessee: Witnesseth that whereas heretofore, to wit, about the ____ day of ____ a certain Charles King executed a Deed of Trust to the said James M. Hord for the benefit of the said John Reynolds and Thomas Smith, endorsed in Bank for the said King, wherein a certain negro boy name Liberty, together with other property, is conveyed in Trust to save harmless and from loss the said endorsers of the said King, and whereas the said McKinney has this day purchased from the said King the said boy and paid him there for the sum of four hundred and twenty-five dollars, now the said Hord and Reynolds in consideration of the above premises do hereby release, relinquish and abandon all the right, title, interest and claim to the said boy that is vested in them by the said Deed of Trust, and by these presents do convey and confirm to the said McKinney all claim, title and interest whatever they have in and to the aforesaid negro boy, Liberty.
