Will of Dr. John Chastang, 1805.

He left everything to his negros and mullatos.
His companion was "Louison, a free negro woman who has resided
with me for 20 years....." The mullatos mention were their children.
Louison was bought by Joseph Chastang in 1780,
and sold to Dr. Chastang when the Doctor fell in love with her.
I am descended from Joseph Chastang. All this is in the book ROCHON, by David Sprinkle.
