Know all men by these presents that I John Lyddal Dixon of county
Jefferson and State aforesaid for himself and the other Executors of the
last Will and Testament of Capt Robert Dixon late of the City of
Augusta, and at their special insistance and request, for and in
consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to him in hand paid have
this day bargained sold an delivered unto John Willson, Senior of the
City of Augusta a certain negroe woman named Juno, which said negroe
woman I do hereby for myself my heirs, executors and administrators and
the heirs Executors and Administrators of the aforesaid Executors of the
last Will and Testamant aforesaid Warrant and defend as good property.
Witness my hand for myself and the other Executors this 24 May 1798.

Received in Augusta 24th day of April 1799 from Wench Juno, one hundred
dollars, in consequence of which I do hereby declare her to be
emancipated and entirely free from slavery; as witness my hand the year
and date above written.  signed:  John Willson  Recorded Aug 1799.
