The following contains a correct Inventory of the property and Effects
belonging to the Estate of Harvy Herrington, late of said County

one Negro woman Named Maria about 70 years of age

This day came Miles J Herrington Administrator of the Estate of Harvy
Herrington decd. who being duly sworn says that the foregoing
Inventory is correct to the best of his knowledge and belief sworn to
and subscribed before me May 1st 1858.

That said deceased died sized and possess of two Negro Woman
slaves to wit Mary a Woman about fifty years of age and Merea also a
Woman about Seventy years of age that said last named Negro
Woman is nearly or quite blind and has been for many years and
that she is valueless & will in all probability become a charge on the
Estate of said deceased.  Your petitioner would further represent
that in as much as one of said negro Woman is Valueless and in
fact a charge upon the estate of decendent and that the other negro
waman is advanced in life and of no great value that it would be to
the interest of intestates Estate to sell both of said negro woman
