BURLISON, BURLESONBURLISON/BURLESON: According to family lore, my Burlison relations(Ripley Co., MO) came from Tipton Co. They show up in MO between 1815and 1850, with a number of them being born in Tennessee between theyears 1800-1840. I'm missing information on one generation. I believethe name to be Joseph Burlison, with at least a son William (b c1840) and daughter Elizabeth (b c 1835), all born in TN. Supposedlysome of the Burlisons came from around Burlison town in Tipton, soI'm hoping that these folks did also.
