Timbs Jan 25, 1926 - Oct. 5, 1991 Ruby Lucille Burk Timbs of Memphis, a retired nurse's assistant, died in Baptist East Hospital in Memphis following a brief illness. Born in Sumner, MS, she was a daughter of Beulah Little Burk of Covington and the late Payten Thomas Burk. She worked at Baptist Central Hospital in Memphis for 22 years and was a member of the Munford First Baptist Church. Services were held Oct. 7 in the Munford Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Ray Thurman, Rev. George Hearn and Rev. Kenneth Bobo officiating. Interment was in Helen Crigger Cemetery. Besides her mother, she leaves her husband, James Alexander Timbs; one son, Ronnie Timbs of Memphis; Three brothers, John and Payten Burk of Munford and James Burk of Millington; three sisters, Wilma hales and Mildred Martin of Munford, and Joyce Jones of Memphis, and two grandchildren.
