I, William B. Conn, of the County of Sumner, State of Tenn., being of sound mind and memory do make and publish the following as my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

Item 1st. It is my will and direction that all my debts and funeral expenses be paid out of any money on hand or the first to be received.

Item 2nd. I bequeath to Lucy Elkin, Mary Elkin, and Milton Elkin, children of M. S. Elkin dec'd., One thousand dollars each, to be paid to them as soon after my death as the funds can be realized, without inconvenience to my wife.

Item 3rd. I devise and bequeath to my wife Martha J. [pg. 378] Conn all the rest residue of my estate, both real, personal and mixed of every description to be held and enjoyed by her, for and during her life with remainder over, at her death, to Willie Conn Elkin, to her and her heirs forever. In the event that the said Willie Conn Elkin should marry before the death of my wife, I direct that she be paid out of my estate, the sum of ten thousand dollars upon her marriage.
