In the name of God Amen: I William Hale of Sumner and State of Tennessee, being in a low state of health, but of perfect mind and memory, calling unto mind the mortality of my body, do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in the following manner and form.

I give and bequeath to my wife Perscilla Hale after the payment of my debts all that I possess during her widowhood and natural life at her decease I wish for an equal division to take place among all my children in such a manner that my daughter Elizabeth Young deceased her equal part shall be given to her Children; also that my daughter Sarah Williams her equal part shall fall into the hands of her (?) children.

I also constitute, make and ordain my wife Priscilla Hale, Cage Hale, and William Cage Executors and Executrix to this my last will and testament. I do hereby disallow all other wills legacies _ and confirming _ no other to be my last will and Testament. In witness I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 24th day of June and in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two.
