I Samuel Wilson of the State of Tennessee and County of Sumner being weak in body of perfect mind and memory calling into mind the mortality of my body and knowing that is appointed for all men _ to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament: And as to seeking such worldly estate _ which it has pleased God to bless me in the life I give, devise, and dispose of the same in the following manner and form, and first of all I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Sarah all my household furniture and all plantation tools and also her choice of two of all my horse creatures. I likewise _ her choice of two of all my cows, I also give unto her my negro man L? and likewise my negro woman Seria? during her life after her death the said negro man L? and the said woman Seria be appraised and the valuation be equally divided among my son John and my son James, Elizabeth Wilson (family??) it is my will that my wife live on the plantation. I now live on during her life, then to be? my son James. I give and bequeath unto my son John five hundred dollars. I give and bequeath unto my grandson Samuel Wilson, son of John Wilson two hundred acres of land _ water on Spring Creek a branck of Duck River _ _ dividing the Rattle Snake Spring. I give and bequeath unto my son James my negro woman _ _ and her child, also _ hundred acres of land _ on Spring Creek a branch of Duck River adjoining _ the south then moving north for _ four hundred acres of land each, Samuel Wilson and Miles Wilson, sons of Zachius Wilson decd. The land _ on Spring Creek a branch of Duck River lying in the north west corner of the tract. The remaining part of my property I allow to be sold and the money arising from the sale to equally divided among my legatees: I do likewise constitute make and ordain Isaac Moore and Jonathan Wilson the sole Executors of this my last will and testament. And I do hereby entirely disallow, revoke and _ all and every other Testament by me made and do confirm this and no other to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this ninth day of April 1814.
