In the name of God Amen: I Samuel SIMMON of Sumner County and State of Tennessee being in perfect health both in body and mind, but being about to travel and calling to mind the uncertainty of human life do ordain this to be my last will and testament I give and bequeath unto John MONTGOMERY son to my old acquaintance William MONTGOMERY all my land in Kentucky State and to my amiable? acquaintance Margaret McCle/i?nahan my riding horse the rest of my property I give to Margaret MONTGOMERY daughter to the above said William MONTGOMERY whom I hereby appoint Executor of this my last will the above bequests all except all except the horse _ for my just debts. In Testimony whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this 15th day of June 1798.
