I Robert Kilpatrick do make and publish this my last will and testament. Hereby ___ and making void all other wills by me at any time. First, I direct that my funeral expenses and all my bills be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any money I may be ___ ___ of as my first come unto the saints of Eternities. I give and bequeath to my wife Martha Kilpatrick the land I live on her life tenancy and also a horse, saddle, and bridle and also a cow and calf and also my negro man Jack
her life time, and also ___ years ___ and also her household and kitchen furniture for her lifetime and at the death of my wife, Martha, my negro man Jack to be set free. I give to my daughter Elizabeth Brown ___ ___ ___ of land which land Jane Brown has had the use of for some years. At the death of my wife, Martha, I want my land to be sold and divided as follows.

To Fleming A. Kilpatrick the sum fifty dollars ___ to Elizabeth Brown fifty dollars and the balance to be equally divided between John J Kilpatrick, Alford Kilpatrick, Wm Kilpatrick, and Katherine Byrns. Lastly, I hereby nominate and appoint David P Byrns my Executor ___ ___ ___ I do ___ my wll set my hand an seal this 25th August 1849.
