In the name of God Amen: I Borden HAWKINS being of sound mind and memory de make this
my last will and Testament. At my death I recommend my soul to God and desire that my body be
decently buried, and as to my worldly affairs after all my just debts are paid If there should be a
surplus I do give and bequeath the same to my beloved Brother John HAWKINS to him his heirs
and assigns: In Testimony I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this third day of October
1798.
