In the name of God Amen:
I John Bysor of the County of Sumner in the State of Tennessee being of sound mind and memory do this fifth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one, make and ordain this my last Will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say, first I give and bequeath my son Peter Byzor (sic) one hundred acres of land on which he now lives ------? to the boundaries. Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Nancy Davenport ( Bevenport? ) all that part of my tract of land in the south side of the Nashville road where she now lives supposed to be one hundred acres. Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Nancy two negroes one named Jenny. The other named Tom. I also give and bequeath to my two daughters Sally and Polly one hundred acres of land joining Peter Byzor being the part where on Barn Hart now lives. Also I give and bequeath to my two aforesaid daughters the following mentioned negroes to wit; Esther and he (?) child back? Jack Fanny Jenny Gabiael Bark and Lucy. (not sure of the spelling of these) Also one half of all my stock and house hold furniture but all the before mentioned property bequeath to my two daughters, Sally and Polly to remain in the possession of my wife Polly during her natural life or widow hood. I also give and bequeath to my son Thomas the balance of my land not before given to the other children beaing (sic) the part whereon I now live, his mother that is to say, my wife Polly to retain one half of the before mentioned land given to my son Thomas during her natural life. And lastlt I give and bequeath to my wife Polly two negroes Luoins and Diley (not sure of spelling) and one half of my stock and house hold furniture forever. In witness whereof the said ------? hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above written. Signed, Sealed, and acknowledged - John Bysor (seal) in the present of -
Joseph Clark and A. Barnhart

N.B. I also give and bequeath to my son Thomas my negroe boy named Grisson to him his heirs and asign forever. In witness of I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 5 day of March 1821.

State of Tennessee Sumner County Court Feby 1822.
The last Will and Testament of John Bysor dc'd was exhibited in Court for probate and the same was proven in due form of Law by the oath of Joseph Clark & A. Barnhart, subscribing witness thereto and ordered to be recorded, and there being no executor named in said Will. On motion it is ordered that Polly Bysor widow and relect of said -------?. Have letters of Administration with the said Will annexed of the goods and -------? rights and credits of the said deceased and thereupon the said Polly Bysor with James Sanders & Peter Bysor her securities entered into and acknowledged their bond to the Governor in the penaly of six thousand dollars conditioned as the law directs. A copy Test;
