In the name of God Amen.

I Andrew West being this day in a low state of health but blessed with a Sound mind and a good memory And knowing that I must shortly die and and as touching my temporal property which it has pleased God to bless me with I give & dispose of it as follows (viz) ~
1st I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Triphena one negro boy called Mark one feather bed & furniture my mare & Colt Two Cows and my Stock of hogs and at her death to be equally divided between all my heirs ~
2nd I give to my daughter Hannah with her husband Jacob Meador one negro boy called Daniel ~
3rd I give to my son Thomas West one negro girl called Merica
4th I give to my daughter Sally & her heirs one negro girl called Harriet ~
5th I give to my Daughter Phebe with her husband Lewis Hunter one negro girl called Nelly ~
6th I give to my Daughter Rachel with her husband John M. Taylor one negro girl called Lucy ~
7th I give to my son David West one negro Woman called Sary ~
Also I divide my land into two parts the line running north and south with a cross fence which runs across my plantation. The upper or west end I give to my Daughter Phebe with her husband Lewis Hunter. The lower or east end I give to my Daughter Rachel with her husband John M. Taylor.
I wish all my other property which is not above named to be equally divided between all my children named as follows (viz) Hannah with her husband Jacob Mador, Thomas West, Sally West, Phebe with her husband Lewis Hunter, Rachel with her husband John M. Taylor & and David West.
I appoint Thomas West & David West Executors of this my last will and Testament and I do hereby disanul all and every other will and pronounce this my last will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and caused my Seal to be affixed 23rd day of April 1830 ~

Sumner County Court May Term 1830
The Last will & Testament of Andrew West was exhibited in open court for probate & was duly proved agreeable to by the oaths of William Allen & R. W. Allen Jr. two of the subscribing witnesses thereto & ordered to be recorded & therefor David West & Thomas West the exrs therein named appeared in court & agreed to take upon themselves the execution thereof & together with Seaton H. Turner & Lewis Hunter their securities entered unto & acknowledged their bond to the Governor in sum of two thousand dollars conditioned as the law directs & took the oath of exrs. Prescribed by Law.
