In the Name of God Amen:
I Abner Ball being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory and knowing that it is appropriate for all men to die do make and ordain this my late will and testament in the manner and form following, to wit,

And first of all I give and recommend my soul unto the hand of Almighty God, who gave it to me, and my body. I recommend unto the earth to be buried in a decent Christian manner at the discretion of my Executors.

Secondly: It is my will that all my personal estate be sold and all my just debts lawfully paid out of the money arising therefore.

3rdly: It is my will that all the remaining part of the money be equally divided between my beloved wife Polly F. Ball and my two children, to wit, Vinney (other resources indicate this name is Young) Ball and Eliza Ball, and I do further appoint my two Brothers James Ball and Isaac Ball the whole and sole Executors of this my last will and testament - and I do hereby disallow, revoke and _ all former wills and Testaments heretofore by me made, signed with my own hand and seal, affixed this 26th day of November te year of our Lord 1817
