Francis (Frank) Marcus WEATHERRED b. About 1739/40, Albemarle County, Virginia, m. (1) about 1768, in Albemarle Co, Virginia, Agnes SUDDARTH b. About 1746/48, Albemarle Co., Virginia, (daughter of James SUDDERTH and Patience Sumpter) d. About 1812, Sumner Co, Tennessee, buried: Weatherred Cemetery, (Locust Grove) Castalian Springs, Sumner County, TN, m. (2) 1815, Frances Searcy. Francis died 1 Nov 1835, Sumner Co., Tennessee, buried: Weatherred Cemetery , (Locust Grove) Castalian Springs, Sumner Co., TN. Frank served in the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812, Pvt. 1 Regt. Hall's Tennessee Volunteers. He came to Sumner Co., TN in 1795. His dad died when he was 8 years old and he was apprenticed to a cabinet maker where he learned his trade. He could jump up and click his heels in the air 3 times at the age of 90. He built his own casket and kept hickory nuts in it. He also did the cabinet work at Cragfont.

About 13 APR 1795, in Albemarle County, Virginia, Elizabeth GILMORE, b. 13 Aug 1775, Albemarle County, Virginia, (daughter of Joseph GILMORE and Frances Eubanks) d. 15 Jun 1859, Sumner County, Tennessee, buried: Old Hopewell Cemetery, Castalian Springs, TN. John died 5 Dec 1857, Sumner County, Tennessee, buried: Old Hopewell Cemetery, Castalian Springs, Sumner County, TN.

  4. James WEATHERRED b. 5 Mar 1775, Albemarle County, Virginia, m. 8 Nov 1799, in Virginia, Mary Polly BLEDSOE. James died About 1843.

  5. Mildred Amelia "Melly" WEATHERRED, b. About 1777, Albemarle County, Virginia, m. (1) 4 May 1805, in Sumner County, Tennessee, Abraham (Abram) BLEDSOE, m. (2) 31 Oct 1826, Thomas ESSEX, m. (3) 1 Feb 1851, Lewis HERING, Jr. Mildred died AFT 1850.

  6. William WEATHERRED, b. 6 Oct 1779, Albemarle County, Virginia, m. 1 Sep 1802, in Albemarle County, Virginia, Patience DOWELL, (daughter of Judas John Dowell and Anne Franklin). William died of cholera 28 May 1849, Sumner County, Tennessee. He was an inspector of tobacco in New Orleans for many years.

  7. Francis Marcus WEATHERRED, Jr., b. 15 Jul 1781, Albemarle County, Virginia, m. 23 Dec 1806, in Albemarle County, Virginia, Nancy Ann DOWELL, b. About 1791, Albemarle County, Virginia, (daughter of Judas John Dowell and Anne Franklin) d. 26 Oct 1862, Milam, Sabine County, Texas. Francis died 4 Dec 1854, Milam, Sabine County, Texas. Frank was in the Texas War of Independence 1836. He was also a hotel-keeper in Sabine Co, TX in 1850. He was appointed Notary Public for Sabine Co. by Republic of Texas President Sam Houston. He was the postmaster at Milam, Sabine County, TX. He also served as Colonel under General Jackson and distinguished himself during the Creek War. He was a member of First Congress of the Republic of Texas in 1836.

  8. Elizabeth WEATHERRED, b. About 1783, Albemarle County, Virginia, m. 9 Apr 1808, in Virginia, Joseph COSBY. (Her husband might have been Joseph Easely and/or Mr. Lions. One source indicated her last name was Cassedy).

  9. Robert WEATHERRED, b. About 1785, Albemarle County, Virginia, m. (1) Margaret PATTERSON, m. (2) Elizabeth TURNER, m. (3) 26 Jul 1825, in Sumner County, Tennessee, Martha Washington MAUM, b. 26 Jun 1825. Robert died 22 Feb 1858, Hillsboro, Hill County, Texas.

  10. Sarah WEATHERRED, b. About 1787, Albemarle County, Virginia, m. 15 Dec 1812, in Sumner County, Tennessee, Thomas Monroe MIERS.
