John WEATHERRED b. 13 Feb 1773, Albemarle County, Virginia, m. about 13 APR 1795, in Albemarle County, Virginia, Elizabeth GILMORE, b. 13 Aug 1775, Albemarle County, Virginia, (daughter of Joseph GILMORE and Frances Eubanks) d. 15 Jun 1859, Sumner County, TN, buried: Old Hopewell Cemetery, Castalian Springs, TN. John died 5 Dec 1857, Sumner County, Tennessee, buried: Old Hopewell Cemetery, Castalian Springs, Sumner County, TN. Letter in Draper Manuscripts from Patience S. Weatherred (daughter of John Weatherred) states that her father was the second oldest child of Agnes Suddarth and Frank Weatherred and that Patience, who married Josiah Wood, was the oldest.

  3. Catherine WEATHERRED b. 1 Jan 1800, Sumner County, Tennessee, m. 6 Sep 1826, in Sumner County, Tennessee, Littleberry WINN, b. about 1800, d. 27 Sep 1868. Catherine died about 1870.

  4. Agnes E. WEATHERRED b. 4 Feb 1803, Sumner County, Tennessee, m. 14 Aug 1832, in Sumner County, Tennessee, Thomas James/Jones?, b. 1877. Agnes died 1 Dec 1878, buried: Wiseman Cemetery, Sumner Co., TN.

  5. Elizabeth S. WEATHERRED b. about 1805, Sumner County, Tennessee, m. 30 Oct 1837, in Sumner County, Tennessee, John Alep DOWELL.

  6. Patience Sumter WEATHERRED, b. 27 Oct 1806, Sumner County Tennessee, d. 5 Apr 1893, Tacoma, Washington. One source stated she never married and went to Oregon with the children of Wilson Yandell Weatherred. She died with paralysis after an illness of only 31 hours.

  7. Annah WEATHERRED b. about 1807, Sumner County, Tennessee, m. 18 Mar 1823, in Sumner County, Tennessee, John WOOD.

Mildred died 10 Oct 1883, Sumner County, Tennessee, buried: ? Oct 1883, Wiseman Cemetery, Castalian Springs, TN.

  9. WILSON Yandell WEATHERRED b. 28 Jun 1815, Sumner County, Tennessee, m. (1) about 1845, Frances SIMMONS, d. 3 Dec 1846, m. (2) 26 Feb 1852, Lucy Ann ADAMS, b. 15 Mar 1829, d. 9 Nov 1875, buried: Hopewell Cemetery, Sumner County, TN. WILSON died 11 Oct 1865, buried: Hopewell Cemetery, Sumner County, TN. After Wilson's death, Lucy married Sam C. Taylor in 1869.
