       Co., VA) Caroline Co., VA in 1796.

       Foxland Hall) in Gallatin, Sumner Co., Tenn; attended (?) 
       William & Mary College in Williamsburg, VA; taught school
       (& his wife) in Goochland Co., VA.; moved with his family 
       from Johnson Springs, VA on 10/15/1826 to Davidson Co., 
       Tenn; began construction of Belmont c. 1830; buried with wife 
       on grounds of Belmont.

       married:  Lucy Ann Trevelian (02/26/1804-08/19/1855) in 
       Goochland Co., VA on 12/04/1823.
