In the name of God amen I DANIEL ROGERS of the county of Sumner and the state of Tennessee being of sound and perfect mind and memory, blessed be God, do this eleventh day of January in the year of Our Lord Eighteen hundred and two make and publish this my last will and Testament. __ manner following, that is to say I do give and bequeath to my beloved wife HANNAH one third part of the of land _ bequest of land here after made to my sons during time that she may _ my widow. And I do likewiese give and bequeath to my said wife one third part of all my personal property. I do likewise give and bequeath to my son SAMUEL one hundred and five acres of land to be taken off the West end of the tract which I now live one it _ to _ which I purchased of JOHN GIVEN and one third part of my personal property not above given to my wife on condition hereafter to be mentioned. I do likewise give and bequeath to my son JONATHAN one hundred acres of land lying south of my plantation which I purchased of HENRY ROBERTSON and one third part of my personal property not above given to my wife on conditions hereafter to be mentioned. And I do likewise give and bequeath to my son STANTON eighty acres of land to be laid off at the East end of the tract on which I now live by a north and south line and I likewise one third part of my personal property not above given to my wife under the condition hereafteer mentioned, that is to say, the several bequests to my son shall be valued by _ men and they shall pay half the value to be equally divided between my daughters. LUCY, LUCRETIA, and POLLY in the following manner.

Viz my son SAMUEL shall pay to my daughter LUCY the sum the sum bequeathed to her. At the equal annual payments, the first to be made within one year from the time that he becomes twenty one years of age, the other two payments to be made annually within the __ year next after her first payment _ __ son JONATHON shall pay the sum bequethed to my daughter LUCRETIA at three equal annual payments, the first to be made within one year after she becomes twenty one years of age and the other two payments in the two following years. My son STAUNTON shall pay the sum bequeathed to my daughter POLLY at three equal annual payments, the first to be made within one year after he becomes twenty one years of age, and the other two payments shall be made within the two following years. And I do hereby nominate, appoint, and constitute my son SAMUEL ROGERS and my Brother GRISWORLD LATIMER Executor to this my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written.
