I Robert Brown do make and publich this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at any time made.
First I direct that my funeral expenses and all my past debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any moneys that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my executors.
Second I give to my wife Susannah Brown during her natural life three negroes to use for and wait on her and to do as she pleases with her lifetime to wit: Stephan, E____, & Sindy and oany other furniture out of my house she may see cause to take.
Third To my son Jacob Brown I give ten dollars.
Fourth To my son Jeremiah Brown I give one dollar.
Fifth To my daughter Milly Cochran one dollar.
Sixth To my son William Brown one dollar.
Seventh To my Daughter Sally Allen one dollar.
Eighth To my Daughter Mary Hodges one dollar.
Ninth To my son Robert Brown one dollar.
Tenth Knowing my daughter Susannah Martin is dead I give to her bodily heirs one dollar to be equally divided between them as they become of age as will also any other effects? that may fall to them by _____ to be kept by Jeremiah Brown and delivered to these as they become of age.
Eleventh To my son Anthony C. Brown one dollar.
Twelth To my son Jonathan D. Brown one dollar.
Thirteenth I want my property all sold after my death both real and personal _____ is not otherwise disposed of and each one to _____ _____ the amount as named in my will should be so as each left if not in proportion to what may be and if _____ should be a ______. I want it equally divided between the _______ as _______ before -- also the property given to wife Susannah Brown at her death to be sold and equally divided also as before named.
Fourteenth I do appoint and nominate my son Jeremiah Brown my executor.

In witness whereof I do to this will set my hand and seal this 21st day of Nov 1849.
