Center: Edwin Miller Bate was born October 9, 1916 in Castalian Springs, Sumner County, died July 10, 1984 in Nashville, Tennessee. His first wife was Maria Matzenreither and his second wife was Christina Marie Henkel. There were no children from either marriage.

At right: Alcyone Bate was born May 30, 1912 in Castalian Springs, Sumner County and died October 17, 1982 in Nashville, Tennessee. She married John Mitchener "Jack" Beasley and they had three children, Nancy Miller, Terry Neill, and Barbara Jane Beasley.
