(spelling was as follows)
I, Creath NEAL of the county of Sumner, State of Tenn. do make and publish this as my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at any time made. I direct that my funeral expensis, and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of my moneys I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executor. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Lenis Ann, all the remainder of my property, real and personal, to do as she sees best with so long as she remains a widow. In case she should marry, then the property shall be divided among my lawful heirs, as the laws of this state direct.

If she should remain a widow untill any of the heirs become of age and need property, I direct that then they shall be put in possession of such a portion as disinterested commissioners may think right that they should have out of the estate at that time. I further direct that upon a final division of my estate, real and person, my sons shall receive my tract of land situated in Sumner Co. Tenn, divided equally among them, and my Daughters shall receive my personal property equally divided among them. If there be not personal property sufficient to make each daughters have equal to each sons, then the sons shall pay to the daughters a sum sufficient to make their shares equal. I also direct that my tract of land lying in Missouri shall be sold as soon as a fair price can be obtained for it and the proceeds placed in the common stock. I desire that my wife may undertake as Guardian for her sister Eliza Jane LANCASTER and keep her with her and raise her.

And should either of my daughters die befor marriage, or arriving at lawful age, my will is that her portion shall be equally divided amongst all my surviving children.

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal on this 10th day of July A.D. 1845
