John H. Link, son of David Link, was born in 1854. He married Bettie Hester about 1869 or 1870. To that union were born nine children, eight of whom are living. As Mr. Link has made his home in Nashville for about fifty years, I cannot get a correct history of his family, but the best information I can get regarding his children follows:

Emma Link, about 59 years of age, but I think she is dead. She married a Mr. Parmer. Eddie Link, 56 years of age, married a Mr. Burgess. Florence Link, 52 years of age. Ollie Link, 54 years old. Grover Link, 58 years of age. Harry Link, Harold Link, Arthur Link, Arthur and Ethel Link are married. I cannot find out their ages or who they married. I think most of them are in Nashville.

Mr. Link was born in Sumner County, Tenn. He moved to Nashville about fifty years before he died. He was for twenty years connected with the Nashville Spoke & Handle Factory, was later bookkeeper for H. E. Parmer Co., of Nashville. He retired from active business several years before he died on account of ill health.

Mr. John H. Link died September 14, 1928. His wife, Bettie Hester died October 14, 1929, thirteen months after her husband died. They are buried at Spring Hill cemetery.

George is a farmer and merchant of the fifteenth district. His father died May 5, 1925. His mother died February 22, 1929. They are buried in the Link burying ground at the T. W. Link place.

Low Link, daughter of David Link, must have been born; judging from the dates of her brother's births about 1848. She married William Jackson. To that union were born eight children, to-wit: Julia, Bud, Mary, Blanche, Walter, Anthony, and Lury, and one who died young. Julia Jackson married Thomas Conquest. They have several children and a number of grandchildren. She and her husband live at Dogtown, Robertson County.
