Christian Link, son of Jacob Link, was born June 21, 1837. He married Miss Annaliza Roney about 1859 or 60. They had twelve children who lived to be grown and nine of them are living now. His children are R. D. Link, Martin Wash Link, W. J. Walter Link, Edward F. Link, Porter Link, Rhoda Link Hornbuckle, Ewing Link, Lesba Link, Armstrong, all of whom are living. Martha Link Harper, Amanda Link Rippy and Louisa Link Harper are dead. His first wife, Annaliza, and infant, died April 10, 1887. She was 44 years of age at the time of her death. Mr. Link lived a widower for a number of years, then married Miss Randolph of Cross Plains, Tenn.

Mr. Link died with cancer November 27, 1909.

R. D. Link was born May 30, 1861, in the fifteenth civil district of Sumner County, Tenn. He married Miss Thomas I. Culbrath December 25, 1884. They made their home in the fifteenth district of Sumner County. To their union were born nine children, six boys and three girls, all of whom are living at this writing.

Mr. Link was a prosperous farmer until a few years back he sold his farm and his been in the milling business at Mulloys since that time. Mr. Link is now in his 75th years and his heath is failing. His wife, Mrs. Thomas Link, departed this life April 23, 1926, at the age of 64 years. She professed faith in Christ in early life, united herself with the General Baptist Church at Halltown and lived a devoted Christian life. Mrs. Link was a devoted wife, a loving and affectionate mother.

Jacob Link, eldest son of R. D. and Mrs. Thomas Link, was born September 26, 1885. He married Miss Mabel Crofton December 8, 1907. To their union were born three children: Walton, aged 19 years; Lymen, aged 17 years; Jennings, aged 9 years.

J. E. Link was in the mercantile business for a number of years at Mulloy, Tenn., but at this writing is farming in Robertson County, Tenn.

Allison Link, son of R. D. Link, was born August 17, 1887, was married to Miss Eva Nell Cockran, the youngest daughter of Prof. William Cockran, a well known educator of Sumner County, about 1910 or 1911. God has blessed their home with three children, two boys and one girl: Melvin Link, aged 18 years; Harris, aged 16 years; Robbie Dixon, aged 9 years.

Allison Link is well education being an expert bookkeeper. He spent some time in Nashville as a bookkeeper in a bank and has been deputy trustee at Springfield for a number of years.

Mrs. Lizzie Link Searcy, daughter of R. D. Link, was born December 3, 1888, married Herschel Searcy December 29, 1913. They have four children: Ruth Thomas, age 13; Reuben Herschel, 11; Anne Elizabeth, 5 years old; Robert D. aged 2 ½ years. They live at Portland, Tenn. Mr. Searcy is a large land owner and a prosperous farmer.

Brook Link, son of R. D. Link was born November (crossed out and written Oct) 14, 1896 was united in the holy bonds of matrimony with Miss Nellie Appling of this community September 9, 1917.

Their home has been blessed with four children, two boys and three girls. Aline aged 11 years, Helen, aged 7; Douglass, aged 6; Ave, aged 3 years; Wilburn, aged 1 years.

Mr. Link is a farmer, a good man and has a good wife, and they are liked by all who know them.

Ralso R. Link, son of R. D. Link, was born June 26th , 1890. Was married to Miss Nora Kirby of Portland, Tenn., March 14, 1915. They are the parents of four children, two of whom are now living and two dead; their first born living only 7 months, and an infant. Carl, who is living, is 13 years of age, and Everett 8 years of age.

Mr. Link is a prosperous farmer of Clearview community, public spirited and generous always ready to contribute freely to any cause that is for the up-building of the community in which he resides.

Mrs. Nellie I. Link Thompson was born April 1st, 1893, married J. O. Thompson of Portland, Tenn., May 14, 1917. Their union was blessed with three children Rubie Glen, age 10 years old; Elizabeth, age 9 years and J. O. Jr. 7 year old. They bought the old home place from her father, R. D. Link, and live at the same place she was born and raised. Mr. Thompson is a well-to-do farmer.

Columbus C. Link, son of R. D. Link, was born December 2, 1898, was married to Miss Laura White of this community in 1917. They have seven children, as follows: Elsie, 12 years of age; Thomas, aged 10 years; Cecil, aged 8 years; C. C. Jr., 6 years; Aubry, 4 years; Annie Laurie, 2 years; Bobbie B. , age 1 year.

Columbus is engaged in farming and is a partner with his father. R. D. Link in the mill and feed business at Mulloys Tenn.

Beulah Link Roney, youngest daughter of R. D. and Mrs. Thomas Link, was born February 18, 1895, was married to Charles Roney November 25, 1916. They have three children, two boys and one girl. Their eldest boy, Charles Mitchell, is 12 years old; Harris Link Roney, 10 years old, and Rebecca, aged 6 years.

Mr. and Mrs Roney live at Portland, Tenn., where Mr. Roney is engaged in business.

Kyle Link, youngest son of R. D. Link, was born September 9, 1904, married Miss Leola Martin of White House, Tenn., May 1927. They have one little girl, named Martha. They are living at Indianapolis.

Martha Link, daughter of Christian and Annaliza Link, was born August 20, 1863. She married William Herper. To their union were born two children, both girls, Lillie Herper and Annie Herper. Martha Link died September 16, 1891. Both her girls are living. Lillie married William Hardin. She has children. Annie married a Mr. Conquest, and has children.

Louisa Link, daughter of Christian and Annaliza Link, was born Jan. 14, 1872. Married Marshall Herper. To their union were born two boys, Ernest Herper and Buford Herper. They are both married and have families. Louisa died April 3rd, 1897. She is buried in the Link Cemetery.

M. Washington Link, son of Christian and Annaliza Link, was born January 29, 1866. He married Miss. M. E. Rippy December 30, 1886. She was born January 2, 1864. They re the parents of 9 children. Their first child died in infancy. The other children are as follows: Herbert Irvine Link was born November 25, 1888, age 41 years. He married Miss. Beulah Gillespie in 1908. They have three children; the oldest, Sue Ellis, is 21 years of age and married to Frank Baird. They live in Franklin, Ky.; Mary O. Link, 16 years of age; John Alvis, aged 14 years.

Ethel J. Link, daughter of M. W. Link, was born November 5, 1900. She is 39 years of age, married Irvin Edwards April 16, 1822. They have two children, Charles D. age 6 and Henry A. , age 5. Mr. Edwards owns a farm and is in the merchandise business.

Jessie Link, daughter of M. W. Link, was born December, 1892, age 37 years. She married Logal Edwards January 12, 1910. To that union five children were born, to-wit: Martin, age 16 years; Ethel, 15; Lawrence, 12; Jessie 9; Ernest, 3. They live on a farm near Franklin, Ky.

William Eugene Link, son of M. W. Link, was born August 7, 1895, married Miss Clara Story February 15, 1915. To their union were born three children, to-wit: Bernice, age 8 years; Aubry, age 11 years; Dorothy, 5 years. They live on a farm near Franklin, Ky.

Elvie L. Link was born November 24, 1897, died October 12, 1899.

Leslie Link was born January 4, 1900, aged 30, married Miss Mary L. Baird March 27, 1921. To their union one child was born, James L. age 5 years. They live in Nashville, Tenn.

Vera Marie Link was born January 5, 1903. She lives in Franklin, Ky.

Virgil L. Link was born July 12, 1905. He is a bus driver from Louisville to Nashville.

M. W. Link was born and reared in the fifteenth civil district of Sumner County, Tenn. He moved to Simpson County, Ky., in 1890. He first purchased a farm near Price's Mill, but at present is living near Franklin, Ky. He has been very prosperous, is a large land owner, besides other property. He has seven children living and 14 grandchildren.

Amanda Link, daughter of Christopher (??) and Annaliza Link, was born May 3rd, 1868; married Johnnie Rippy February 28, 1888. To their union were born in children, eight living, one born dead in 1896. The living are Lena Rippy, born May 27, 1892. She married Edward Yates. Vernon Rippy, born July 20, 1894. Married a Miss Lizzie Swan. Iva Rippy, born October 3, 1897. Married Benton Yates. Effie Rippy, born June 26, 1900. Married Ewing Tate. Chester Rippy, born July 5, 1902. Married Miss Gladys Henly. Lilly Mae Rippy was born October 11, 1904. Married Ewing Berry. Leter Rippy born June 13, 1909. Unmarried. Ezra Gale Rippy, born August 3, 1909. Married Benton Payne. Amanda Rippy died _. Her husband survives her. He is a prosperous farmer near Orlinda.

Walter Link, son of Christian Link, was born December 25, 1869. He married Miss Annie Griffin in 1892. To their union were born nine children, four of whom are now living. Leonard, his oldest son, was born May 6, 1893, married Miss Stella Legg about 1913. They have four children, Bevis, 16 years of age, Noel, 12, Beatrice, 11, Annie, 9. They are living in Portland, Tenn.

Alonzo A. Link, son of Walter Link, was born July 22, 1894, married Miss Callie Groves December 29, 1919. To that union were born four children: Nadine, age 15 years; Maurice, age 10 years; Evelyn, age 8; Annie V., age 5 years. Their daughter, Nadine, is married to Eugene Hornburger of White House, Tenn.

Leonard Link, son of Walter and Annie Link, was born May 6, 1893. He married Miss Stella Legg. To that union were born four children, to-wit: Bevis, age 16 years; Noel, age 12; Beatrice, 11 years , Annie R., aged 9 years. They live at Portland, Tenn.

Nona B. Link Smart, daughter of Walter Link, was born November 26, 1890. Married Mr. Lillard Smart January 6, about 1916 or 1917. They have two children. Herrice, age 13 and Mary Lee, age 11 years. Mr. Smart is a teacher. They live at Portland, Tenn.

Annie Lou Lamberth Link, daughter of Walter Lin, was born May 16, 1903; married Mr. Floyd Lambert, April 20, 1926 and has three children; Ruth, 4 years old; Mansford, 2 years old and an infant. They live at Portland, Tenn.

Delbert Link, son of Walter and Annie Link, was born August 23, 1896. He married Miss Alma Kirby, January 28, 1917. To their union were born five girls: Louise, age 12 years; Marie, aged 10 years; Lois, age 9 years, Annie C., age 7 years; Sue, aged 3 years.

Delbert Link is a farmer. He is a Christian gentlemen. He professed faith in Christ in 1929, united with the General Baptist Church at Halltown and is a zealous Christian worker. At this, 1930, is Superintendent of the Sunday School at Oakland.

E. F. Link, Christian Link's son, was born September 9, 1874. Married Miss Leona Griffin February 5, 1893. Both are living at this writing and have seven children living and one dead, five boys and two girls. Ollie Link, the eldest, was born May the fifth, 1894. Married to Miss Flora White. They have two children. Ollie resides at Indianapolis, Ind.

Willie Link was born August 21, 1895 and married Miss Rubie Legge. Their union has been blessed with two children, a boy and a girl. They are now living at Portland, Tenn.

Bernice Link was born January 15, 1897. She married Mr. Cleon Short, of Portland, Tenn. They have one child.

Geneva Link was born March 5, 1900 and married Mr. Albert White. She has three girls, Jennie Lee, age 13 years; Mildred, 11 years; Louise, 9 years.

Raymond Link was born December 5, 1902, and married Miss Willie Legge. They have two children. Their home is Indianapolis, Ind.

Russell Link was born May 8, 1909, and married Miss Buna Lamberth, and has one child.

J. P. W. Link, better know as Porter, is a son of Christian Link. He was born in Sumner County, Tenn., Sept. 21, 1876. He spent the first twenty-three years of his life in Sumner County. He then went to Nashville, Tenn. He worked for the Nashville Railway & Light Co. almost twelve years; he met and wooed and won a young lady of Newburn, Tenn., a Miss Mamie Jackson, and they were married January 25, 1911, he being 34 of age, his wife 28 years of age. They moved to Newburn, or near there, where Porter bought a farm of 170 acres. They have a nice home. Mr. Link is a prosperous farmer. Not only have Mr. and Mrs. Link been blessed with health and prosperity, but they have also been blessed with four children, three boys Goodloe, aged 18 years; Forrest, age 16; Laurence, age 12, and one girl, Lorene, age 14 years. They are all with their parents.

Rhoda Link, daughter of Christian and Analiza Link, was born January 65th, 1879. She married Chas. Shaub. They had two children, to-wit: Earl and Aubry. They are both married. They married sisters. They live in Nashville.

Mr. Shaub has been dead quite a while. Rhoda then married Gordon Hornbuckle. They are living at Portland, Tenn.

Lesha Link, daughter of Christian and Analiza Link, was born March 16, 1835. She married C. W. Armstrong of Robertson County. They had only one child, Annie Armstrong. She married a Mr. Gant. They live Nashville.

Ewing L. Link, son of Christopher Link, was born May 28, 1883. He was married to Miss Carrie S. Warren August 18, 1907. They have two children, one daughter. She married Rev. J. E. Holley, of Nashville, Tenn. She has one child. He has one boy, 19 years of age Ewing Link moved to Nashville in 1901 and was connected with a bakery for about a year, and has been with the Nashville Railway & Light Co. since 1902. He and his family are all members of the Methodist Church.
